Piuma is a solid beech dining table made in Italy. Its frame-style legs, open at the centre and joined by a floor-level stretcher, give it a notable visual lightness without sacrificing strength: a piece built to withstand decades of daily use.
Made-to-measure dining table, 100 to 190 cm
We don't work with fixed sizes. Piuma is made to measure at any length between 100 and 190 cm, so the table fits the actual space in your dining room, and the price is the same whichever size you choose. It's an unusual advantage: most dining tables force you to choose between falling short and buying more than you need.
Solid beech wood with a clear varnish finish.
The tabletop and frame are made of solid beech, a hardwood with a fine grain and excellent dimensional stability. The finish is a clear Sayerlack varnish, a hard-wearing professional-grade treatment that seals the wood against stains and moisture without altering its colour or its natural feel. This is what makes it suitable for everyday dining use, with the exposure to liquids and heat that entails, and without the care untreated wood demands.
Dining table and desk
At the longer sizes it comfortably seats eight. The 75 cm height is standard working height, so the same table works as a generous desk for a screen, documents and materials, and can change function over the years without looking out of place.

Caring for the wood
The varnish seals the wood completely, so the Piuma requires no routine maintenance: no oiling, no waxing, no annual treatments. Simply wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it afterwards, avoiding abrasive products and solvents.
