There are bedrooms where every centimetre counts. Comodo Rid meets this requirement: it retains the solid beech structure of the Comodo and reduces the outer frame to 3 cm, so that the bed frame is barely larger than the mattress. Made in Italy.
Under-bed storage, up to four drawers
The frame accommodates up to four solid wood drawers mounted on castors. These are optional and can be added to later: the bed can be ordered without drawers, with one drawer, or with the full set, and the rest can be added at a later date. The set is completed with a matching headboard and bedside tables.
Solid wood slatted bed base included
The bed includes a slatted base made of solid wood. As an optional extra, a tatami mat can be laid on top of it, which completely covers the sleeping surface and provides the firm support characteristic of a Japanese futon.
Solid beech and a choice of finishes
It is made from solid, untreated beech. The closed grain of the beech provides good natural protection in its own right, so a varnish is not a necessity but a choice of colour: anyone wishing to give it a specific shade can finish it with varnishes or natural impregnating oils, from the available range. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests. This is a flat-pack piece of furniture that can be dismantled, transported and reassembled.
